I’m Franchelle Young, the creative behind Excusemyflicks. I am a photographer and videographer with a heart for storytelling, connection, and intentional imagery.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, I began my journey in 2023 as a self-taught creative, led by passion, faith, and a deep love for people. I believe every person carries a story, and every story deserves to be seen with care, dignity, and intention.

Photography means more to me than creating beautiful images. Through this work, I’ve met people from all walks of life and learned that everyone — even the most confident — carries an insecurity. My goal is to create a safe, uplifting space where clients feel comfortable, confident, and truly seen.

At Excusemyflicks, I don’t believe in putting creativity into a box. I specialize in studio and portrait photography, including birthday portraits, family portraits, engagements, and creative portraits, as well as branding photography, videography, and event coverage. I work with individuals and creative teams/brands who value artistry, authenticity, and elevated visuals that feel both personal and refined.
